About Ian Speirs
Ian Spiers is a passionate campaigner for men’s issues and a thought leader on what it truly means to be a man in today’s evolving world. He is a big supporter of Global Woman Club and in collaboration with his fiance Mirela Sula who is the CEO of Global Woman Club, they have started a movement to create unity and collaboration between women and men together. As the Director of Global Man Club and co-founder of the Investors Club, Ian is dedicated to supporting men in both their personal and professional lives. He creates an inclusive environment that encourages open dialogue, emotional intelligence, and mutual respect across genders. A strong advocate for gender equality, diversity, and inclusion, Ian believes that true progress can only be achieved when all voices are heard, valued, and empowered.
Before founding Global Man, Ian built a distinguished 26-year career at J.P. Morgan, one of the world’s leading financial services institutions. He held senior roles across both the Corporate & Investment Bank and Asset Management divisions, with deep expertise in OTC derivatives, credit and equities, and large-scale change management. His work spanned front and middle office operations, client relationship management, and the strategic transformation of global infrastructure and business models.
In his most recent corporate role, Ian led strategic market infrastructure initiatives, supported the buildout of fintech start-ups, and drove automation and outsourcing strategies to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. He was also a member of J.P. Morgan’s Diversity Council within the Corporate & Investment Bank, where he championed inclusive leadership and greater representation within the financial industry.
Outside of his professional achievements, Ian lives a rich and well-rounded life. He is an avid sailor, regularly competing in yacht races around the Solent on the south coast of England. He is also a wine enthusiast, with a deep interest in food and wine pairing. Committed to lifelong learning and personal development, Ian continues to lead by example — professionally, personally, and socially.
